About This Opportunity
PBLA will be conducting an Immigration Legal Advice Clinic on February 6, 2024, from 2pm – 7:30pm at the Calgary Central Library. The intake period of which will start on January 18, 2024, and end on February 1, 2024. There will be two (2) shifts per day which can either be a morning shift (9am-12pm) or afternoon shift (12pm-3pm). We only require a maximum of 2 volunteers per shift. The task include the following:
- answer phone calls and book appointment
- return missed calls/voicemails
- refer to Court-Based Programs or other organization if application
- walk-in intake on the day of event
- administer client feedback form on the day of event

- at least 18 years old
- know how to use a landline
- good knowledge of the English language
