About This Opportunity

We offer Junior Adapted Cycling in Baker Park, Calgary. Children with disabilities learn how to ride a bike in a fun and inclusive environment! Volunteers are paired with participants, usually one on one. All volunteers will receive training, briefing and be supervised by an experienced coach. Our participants range from 3-18 years old, most have neurodivergent challenges. During the session, volunteers help ensure safety at all times, motivate and accompany the participants during their activity. After the session, volunteers are asked to help clean up and participate in debrief to learn from each other. Please bring your bike, as volunteers will need to bike alongside their participants. Suitable pairings will be thoroughly considered. We ask volunteers to please commit to all 5 sessions of each block you're signing up for. This way we provide a more predictable situation for both participants and coaches.

* Block 2a: Sundays, July 21 - Aug 18, 3:00-4:00pm

* Block 2b: Tuesdays July 23 - Aug 20, 6:00-7:00pm

 Thank you for considering!
