Job Title: Junior Outreach Coordinator
Introduction: The Dollar Detectives is a not-for-profit social enterprise whose mission is to empower our youth to confidently transition through adulthood by building the financial, social, and emotional resilience needed to navigate their world successfully. We are currently seeking a highly motivated junior outreach coordinator to join our team. As an outreach coordinator, you will be responsible for reaching out to local organizations to promote The Dollar Detectives. You will also be able to work closely with experienced professionals in the field and gain valuable knowledge and skills!
Hours/Week: Flexible; 2-5 hours/week
Length of Term: 3-6 months
Volunteer Position Tasks:
- Develop outreach strategies to engage the community in financial literacy programs Build partnerships with local organizations
- Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials for upcoming events and outreach efforts, such as flyers, social media posts, and email newsletters.
- Collaborate with program coordinators and other volunteers
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required
Volunteer Position Requirements:
- Passion for community outreach and engagement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in community outreach or event planning is preferred
- Completion of a background check
