 Responsibilities: 

•  Assist the legal team with legal research, writing and review legal documents. 
• Support funding initiatives for Empowered Futures' mentorship program. 
•  Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop effective legal strategies and solutions. 
• Provide support on various legal matters. Attend team’s weekly meetings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 5:00pm MST and Empowered Futures’ monthly General meeting 

 Qualifications: 

•  Practicing Lawyer is a plus Law degree or currently enrolled in law school. Strong legal research and writing skills. 
• Working Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: Privacy Law Charity Law or Non-profit Law Corporate and Commercial Law Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to social justice and helping underserved communities.
