About This Opportunity
The Georgina Food Pantry is in need of a LEAD WAREHOUSE VOLUNTEER immediately. This person needs to be capable of lifting 50+ pounds and available Monday morning from 8:30-12:00 and Thursday mornings 8:30-12:00 as well as on the 2nd Friday afternoon of each month from 12:30-2:30.
This role consists of co-ordination of restocking all non-perishables and keeping the food coordinator aware of items that need to be ordered. Collection of recycling and garbage needs to be disposed of and sweeping and mopping of warehouse floors as needed.
Preparation of week 3 delivery boxes.
Keep the warehouse tidy and organized at all times.
