York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a LEGO Art Program Teaching Assistant—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and assisting in developing a love for Lego Art in our campers.
The LEGO Art Program Teaching Assistant is responsible for:
- Building excitement surrounding Lego Art in kids
- Working alongside [Summer Camp Volunteers, March Break Volunteers, Weekend Camp Volunteers, etc]
- Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone
- Arriving on time

Who We're Looking For:
✔ Minimum age: 12
✔ Able to independently arrive to work on time
✔ Passionate about volunteering and excited to learn
✔ Can commit to scheduled time of event
✔ Fluency in English
✔ Highly organized, detail-orientated and capable of managing multiple tasks
Bonus Skills:
✔ Previous experience in event planning and coordinating
✔ Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English considered an asset
