About This Opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Advocate for the needs of male cancer patients and survivors within the community.
- Raise awareness about HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre and its services among male cancer patients, survivors, and their families.
- Provide peer support and mentorship to male cancer patients and survivors.
- Assist in the development and implementation of programs and initiatives tailored to the needs of male cancer patients.
- Participate in community events, workshops, and outreach activities to promote cancer awareness and education.
- Collaborate with other volunteers and staff members to ensure the effective delivery of services.
Skills:
- Empathy: Ability to empathize with the experiences and emotions of male cancer patients and survivors.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Active Listening: Capacity to actively listen to and understand the needs and concerns of others.

Time Commitment
