NUTMEG Soccer is looking for a passionate volunteer to lead the Marketing team. NUTMEG strives to create confident, healthy and conscientious communities connected through the power of sport and education. We work to achieve this by providing free, fun, safe and quality soccer training and educational sessions for underserved children and youth in Toronto, while providing development opportunities for volunteers. Marketing to prospective families and volunteers is a critical component for delivering on NUTMEG's mission and ensuring long-term success.

About This Opportunity
In this role you will be responsible for guiding the marketing strategy and execution. You will work closely with the liaison for the Board and will support a team of 4 volunteers who manage various parts of marketing including Graphic Design, Web Development, Digital Marketing, Social Media and Base Communications.
This is a fantastic role for someone currently in marketing and is looking to expand their marketing and/or people leadership skillsets. This role is also a great way to give back to your community in a meaningful way while also connecting with like-minded individuals.
Role Scope:
- Put together quarterly and annual marketing plans and receive buy-in from Board
- Secure and manage Marketing budget
- Project manage execution of marketing plans
- Guide & support team of 4+ volunteers across various Marketing pillars, providing coaching and mentorship
- Hire and optimize team structure to deliver against the strategy & objectives
Estimated time commitment: 3-4 hours per month
Qualifications:
- University or college degree
- Marketing experience
Nice to have:
- Experience working with youth programs
- People leadership experience
Although NUTMEG is based out of downtown Toronto, we are open to applicants located across Canada. Successful candidate must be prepared to serve a 2-year term in the role.
