York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. 

We are looking for a Volunteer—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves enrichment the community by planning and preparing for community events. 

The Volunteer is responsible for: 

- Building excitement surrounding community events

- Working in a team for material preparation

- Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone 

- Supporting the project delivery

📍Aaniin Community Center, Markham

Date & Time: 

🗓️ Saturdays Sept - Nov, 2025

Time to be discussed with supervisor

Who We're Looking For: 

- Minimum age: 12 

- Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and softwares 

- Complete training prior to start date 

- Can commit to the shift schedule

Bonus Skills: 

- Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English 

- Previous volunteer experience
