About This Opportunity

The Baycrest Foundation is recruiting volunteers for the roles below to be a part of the 2024 Mattamy Homes Bike for Brain Health to make it an exceptional experience! Volunteers will be trained for their role in advance of the event, and again before the start of their shift.

Pre-event Positions and Shifts (Thursday May 30 – Saturday June 1, 2024)

  • Set Up

You will work with Baycrest employees to set out supplies for the participant check in area. Ability to lift 15lbs is an asset.


  • Pre event Check in 

You will work as a team to provide excellent customer service. During the check-in process you will be collecting donations, participant data, and distributing materials. You will work with your team and employee partners to ensure an excellent experience for all participants. 

 

Event Day Positions (Sunday, June 2, 2024)

  • Info Squad

    You will welcome participants and guests to Bike for Brain Health and share event information as well as provide directions.
  • Volunteer Check-In

    You will work with a team to check in volunteers, provide volunteers with support materials, provide directions to meet with their Captain or Team, and work with event employees and volunteer captains to coordinate volunteer support.
  • Corporate Lounge Host

    You will welcome corporate teams and captains to the Corporate Lounge area, and check wristband credentials as participants enter. 
  • Participant Check-in

You will work as a team to provide excellent customer service. During the check-in process, you will be collecting donations, participant data, and distributing materials.

  • Fuel Station

You will work in a team to replenish and present healthy food and beverage items as participants complete their route.

  • Finish Area

    You will assist with celebrating participants fundraising and physical accomplishments by helping to hand out Medals as participants complete their route.
