Thank you for considering a volunteer opportunity with East York Meals on Wheels!
East York Meals on Wheels is a not-for-profit agency serving meals to seniors and people in need in East York. We rely on volunteers to ensure our community is well taken care of and fed. We are currently in urgent need of volunteer meal delivery drivers! You will be reimbursed for gas mileage!
We are looking for people with a valid drivers license to deliver:
Hot meals from Sunday - Friday 11:00 - 1:00pm
Cold meals on Tuesday and Thursday from 2-4:00pm
Produce delivery bags on Thursdays from 11-1:00pm
Diners Club client pick up/drop off every second Tuesday of the month from 11:30 - 1:30pm (Diners Club lunch runs from 12-1:pm)

Please note:
Our volunteers must get a Vulnerable Sector Screen. Details and information on getting a VSS will be provided to you ahead of time.
Volunteers must have a valid drivers license. Volunteers use their own vehicles and will be reimbursed for gas mileage.
Training will be provided and we accommodate flexible schedules!
