About This Opportunity
Role Summary: Join us as a compassionate Member Feeding Assistant Volunteer and promote the health and wellbeing of our extraordinary members. Your crucial role involves assisting with feeding, ensuring they receive proper food and beverages. Make a meaningful impact in their lives!
Responsibilities:
- Assist members during mealtime with empathy.
- Ensure proper food and beverage intake.
- Report concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean feeding area.
- Engage in friendly conversations.
- Provide support and assistance as needed.
- Complete simple documentation.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Compassionate and patient demeanour.
- Completion of feeding training.
- Vulnerable Sector Screening.
Commitment:
- 1-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (11:30 AM to 12:30 PM or as assigned).
- Minimum commitment: 3 months.
