About This Opportunity
We recognize that many of our clients face challenges in getting to their medical appointments, and hence we are currently seeking volunteers to serve as companions and escorts for individuals who are unable to leave their residence on their own.
As a volunteer, your responsibilities will include:
- Accompanying clients to their medical appointments via various transportation methods, including taxi, TTC, Wheel Trans, or iRide
- Ensuring the client's safety and comfort during the journey to the medical facility
- Providing companionship and support to alleviate any anxiety or stress the client may be experiencing
- Ensuring the client's safe return to their residence after the appointment
We provide comprehensive training to all our volunteers.
