Join our team as a Monthly Meeting Coordinator for our organization dedicated to supporting the blind community. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our monthly meetings run smoothly and provide valuable resources to those in need.

We strive to provide comprehensive support, resources, and a strong sense of community for our members. We offer a wide variety of recurring and special events, that empower and connect our community.

Volunteer Role and Responsibilities: As the Monthly Meeting Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in organizing and managing our monthly gatherings. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Meeting Logistics: Coordinate and arrange the logistics of each monthly meeting,  securing necessary equipment, and ensuring accessibility for attendees with visual impairments.

  2. Resource Management: Coordinate the procurement of necessary materials and resources required for each meeting, such as snacks and handouts. 

Requirements:

  • Passionate about supporting individuals who are blind or visually impaired
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
  • Comfortable with technology and basic audio/visual equipment
  • Reliable and committed to attending monthly meetings and related planning sessions

Time Commitment:
