When
About This Opportunity
· Select and secure an event site location
· Arrange for a certificate of insurance from ALS BC
· Recruit volunteer leaders who will assist in organizing the event and sit on the event committee
· Obtain local sponsorship
· Organize regular meetings to measure progress and set interim goals, generally every month
· Provide all information regarding the Move to Cure ALS for updates to the MTC website.
· Oversee all aspects of the event on the day of the event
· Ensure local expenses are paid and all funds and pledge sheets are forwarded to ALS BC.
· Regular Communication with the ALS BC Events & Support Coordinator to express progress and challenges.
