About This Opportunity
NAAC members will provide valuable experience, expertise and perspectives that add richness and authenticity. They will help shape the work, direction and priorities of the development of the National programmes.
The NAAC's mandate will consist of giving advice, formulating opinions and making recommendations on questions where the topic affects their respective community. They will evaluate the project's performance, gather input from/serve as a liaison within relevant constituencies, provide feedback and technical expertise, and assist the National Team in determining essential activities and next steps.
We are looking for individuals who associate themselves with one or more of these minority groups:
- 50% of members should be People who identify as HIV+ or are currently under PreP.
- Black Indigenous Person of Colour (BIPOC).
- People living with disabilities People who identify as LGBTQ2+.
- Refugees and newcomers People living in rural communities.
- Students in high school, college or university.
- Background in Medical and/or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Background in Public and/or Global Health.
- Background in Media (HIV/AIDS focus).
- Background in Human Rights and HIV Advocacy/Activism.
