About This Opportunity

A Nature Interpreter welcomes visitors and groups as they arrive to the Nature Centre building, and acts as a representative for ABNC. Providing outstanding customer service and attitude of excitement towards nature. Typically these interpretive roles are needed before/after events when there are more people than usual inside the centre. This role will also be needed on all Saturdays from July to August 2024 as that is the busiest day of the week during the summer:  Act as a casual guide to groups of people in the interpretive centre - animal facts and information will be shared with all volunteers. Inform visitors as they arrive, of events and activities, or if they need to steer clear of an area. Direct guests to what areas they can interact with and keep an eye on them to make sure they aren't touching/interacting with the Taxidermy or live animals.
