About This Opportunity
The TCCSA is looking to connect youth of diverse backgrounds in a program that will provide them with important workplace and everyday skills. Through team building activities, discussion, training, and outings around the city, youth will have the opportunity to build and refine their leadership, communication, cooperation, and English-speaking skills.
Through discussions and reflection, the youth will be given an opportunity to speak on topics such as race and identity, how they fit and move within the world. Sharing these stories and hearing from others will give them new perspectives and enhance their communication skills.
Full attendance includes 28 volunteer hours (26 in-person + 2 virtual). If you attend 80% or more of the workshops, you will receive a certificate and can sign up to host extension youth programs and other activities in the fall (Up to 12 more hours).
