Online Consumer Panel Volunteer
Position Overview
Arthritis Society Canada is looking for volunteers living with arthritis to join our Online Consumer Panel. Panel members provide valuable feedback to help shape resources and information that support people living with arthritis across Canada.
Time Commitment
Panelists receive approximately 6–12 feedback requests per year via email
Participation is flexible — respond when you’re able
Occasional virtual focus groups may be offered
Volunteers serve a one-year term, with the option to renew
Key Areas of Responsibility
Share lived experiences with arthritis to inform Arthritis Society Canada’s work
Provide feedback on educational resources, public campaigns, and materials
Participate in surveys and occasional video call focus groups
Help improve services and tools available for people living with arthritis
Desired Skills & Attributes
Living with arthritis (any type)
Willing to share feedback and personal insights in a thoughtful, constructive manner
Comfortable communicating via email and completing online surveys
Interest in contributing to the development of resources that support others
Experience with virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom) is an asset
Who Can Join
We welcome adults (18+) from all backgrounds across Canada. We are especially seeking greater representation from:
Francophone communities
Indigenous peoples
Black and People of Color
2SLGBTQIA+ individuals
Residents in rural, remote, northern, or Atlantic regions

An Arthritis Society Canada staff member will manage communication with panel members
Working Environment
This is a remote role — volunteers can participate from anywhere in Canada with internet access
Eligible participants may receive an annual honorarium for their contributions
