York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for an Outreach & Engagement Assistant Volunteer—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves socializing. 

The Outreach & Engagement Volunteer is responsible for: 

► Working in a team to brainstorm ideas to increase contact and relationships with other organizations

► Maintaining good relationships with other organizations 

► Working on and completing projects when assigned 

► Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone 

► Signing into shift on time

Who We're Looking For: 

- Minimum age: 12 

- Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and softwares 

- Complete training prior to start date 

- Can commit to the shift schedule

Bonus Skills: 

- Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English 

- Previous volunteer experience
