About This Opportunity
As an Outreach Liaison for A Million Acts of Love, you will play a vital role in expanding the reach of our kindness campaign by connecting with local schools, businesses, community groups, and organizations to inspire participation. Your work will directly contribute to raising awareness about numerous social issues, as each act of kindness can focus on any social cause. Overall, the campaign helps highlight rare diseases, grief support, and the power of kindness, helping us reach our goal of one million acts of love by December 16, 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to be the face of our movement within your community and make a tangible impact by fostering collaboration and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop Partnerships: Reach out to local schools, businesses, and community organizations to encourage their involvement in the campaign.
2. Promote the Campaign: Share information about the campaign’s mission and goals with potential partners, encouraging them to sign up and spread kindness. Encourage partners to collaborate as affiliates and have their communities contribute acts of kindness.
3. Coordinate Events (Optional): Help organize community outreach activities or small events to spread awareness and inspire participation in A Million Acts of Love.
4. Track Participation: Ensure that individuals and groups sign up for the campaign so their acts of love are officially counted toward our one million goal.
5. Share Resources: Provide promotional materials such as posters, social media graphics, or brochures to help partners promote the campaign within their networks.
6. Represent the Campaign: Serve as a key ambassador for A Million Acts of Love, speaking passionately about our mission and fostering lasting relationships with community stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse community groups 3. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
4. Passionate about making a positive impact and engaging with the community
5. Experience in outreach, marketing, or partnership development (preferred but not required)
6. Comfortable using email and social media for outreach
