About This Opportunity
Caregivers Alberta empowers Albertans who provide care to family and friends at home or in the community. We provide education, support caregivers' wellbeing, and advocate for public policy.
Although we are headquartered in Edmonton, we provide programs and services for all family and friend caregivers throughout the province.
In order to build awareness of our nonprofit and our work, we use printed materials (professional referral folders, caregiver program brochures, etc) that can easily be distributed in health facilities, recreational centres, libraries, and other locations.
We are looking for a behind-the-scenes administrative volunteer to help us put together these materials on Wednesdays, at our office in NE Edmonton in the Jerry Forbes Center (12122-68 Street).
**If you are a reliable fit for this role, and would like to put packages together at home rather than coming to our office, this is a possibility provided a consistent drop-off/pick-up schedule can be arranged and you don't live too far away.
This volunteer role is suitable for seniors and youth 16+.
