Event Documentation
Photograph and film conferences, panels, celebrations, and community activities
Capture key moments, audience interactions, and participant testimonials
Create a cohesive visual portfolio reflecting the organization's mission and values
Ensure comprehensive coverage of Black History Month events
Promotional Content Creation
Produce short videos for social media and website use
Create photo montages for annual reports and communication materials
Develop visual content for awareness campaigns
Conduct portrait sessions with guests, speakers, and team members
Management and Archiving
Organize and catalog photos and videos in a structured file system
Deliver final content within agreed timelines
Maintain a visual archive of organizational activities
Respect image rights and obtain necessary permissions
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in photography and/or videography
Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or equivalents)
Professional or semi-professional quality photography and video equipment
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Cultural sensitivity and understanding of Black history issues
Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with participants
Time Commitment
15-20 hours per month, with increased intensity during Black History Month (mid-January - February)
Availability for evening and weekend events
One-year commitment desired with possibility of renewal
