About This Opportunity
Task description:
Our purpose is to connect the Kidney Community, Educate the Public on Kidney Health and Organ Donation, and showcase special events, personal stories and journeys, and have a little fun.
You can find our show on Shaw Multicultural, Shaw Direct and Rogers West Television several times a week or on our Youtube Channel @KidneyPLUGGEDIN.
We are looking to grow our online library and increase our language options by recording content from across BC and the Yukon Territory from a variety of voices.
If you are an active Youtuber, aspiring videographer, video editor, journalist, artist, actor or speak another language other than English we are looking for you to take on the volunteer roles of videographer, video editor, script writer, interviewers and show hosts.
This is a remote, flexible volunteer position. The role is built to fit your schedule. You can volunteer a little or a lot, it is up to you. It might be a great project for a family or students to take on or a way to grow your portfolio and build your film production experience. Responsibilities (depending on the role you select):
Preparing a segment script
Interviewing a local patient/organ donor/ health professional/Event Organizer on a Kidney Related topic
Capturing the interview on video
Video Editing
Sound Editing
Attending team meetings and meetings with the Senior Production Manager of Plugged In
Skills needed:
Videography
Video editing
On camera experience
Writing skills
Host/Interview skills
Time commitment:
