About This Opportunity
MediUnite Podcasts are a new edition to the MediUnite Journal and require a committee of podcast writers willing to write engaging, formal health-related podcasts on specific topics. Volunteers are both able to write on topics of their choice, and will write on prescribed topics. Script writers must create engaging and formal scripts which critically examine a specific issue or topic. These scripts are then recorded in studio by in-person hosts, as well as online callers from regions all around the world. Experts and interviewees may be interviewed for additional opinions, and questions for interviews are also written by podcast writers.
Volunteering with the MediUnite Journal is minimal work, and presents a huge reward. A committee of writers write scripts collaboratively, a few times a month.
Volunteers can gain valuable experience interacting with like-minded youth and young adults, and researching healthcare-related topics. Volunteers will receive verbal credit in the podcast for their work, will be acknowledged as an executive on the MediUnite Podcasts website, their name will be published on any publications relating to the podcast, will receive a Certification of Volunteerism issued by the MediUnite Journal, and automatically be able to receive MediUnite Journal Awards
