About This Opportunity
• Scheduling day-to-day project activities
• Acting as the first point of contact for event-related enquiries
• Verifying details and necessary changes to event schedule
• Coordinating the schedule for program and event calendars
• Coordinating event logistics (catering, AV, room bookings, etc.)
• Resolving issues within the scope of the role and escalating problems as required
- Any other as is required to run and manage these programs effectively.

- Minimum 16 years old
- Additional Requirements
- A Diploma or a degree in marketing, outreach, community development, or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
- Minimum three years recent experience related to program and event planning, or community development and outreach
- Experience working across sectors, including community organizations, not-for-profits, local and provincial governments, and private enterprise
- Experience delivering high-quality and high-impact, seminars, events, workshops, conferences (in-person and virtual).
- Demonstrated high degree of diplomacy and tact, and ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
- Demonstrated excellent writing and oral communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict and competing deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative skills; demonstrated ability to establish positive working relationships at all levels
