Join BECC’s Project Development Team! Biosphere Eco-Cities Canada (BECC) is looking for passionate volunteers to help turn ideas into impactful environmental and community projects.
About BECC
BECC is a national charity that supports development of Biosphere Eco-Cities (BECs) in Ottawa, Toronto, Brampton, Edmonton, and Vancouver.
What you’ll do:
Idea Generation & Research
Receive project ideas from other BEC team
Conduct research and collect relevant data to support project concept development
Project Proposal Development
Contribute to drafting project concept notes, frameworks and charters
Support in developing detailed project proposals, work plans, and timelines
Assist in preparing logical frameworks and activity plans
Coordination & Collaboration
Work closely with other teams such as finance and fundraising to improve project proposal
Participate actively in project development and planning meetings.
Monitoring & Documentation
Help maintain records of proposals, ideas, and progress updates
Support reporting and documentation of project development activities
Research and identify opportunities for new community and environmental projects
Prepare project concepts, proposals, and action plans with timelines and success indicators
Assist in planning and launching projects, setting clear goals and expected outcomes
Track project progress, provide updates, and capture lessons to guide future initiatives
What we’re looking for:
Experience in project planning or development
Strong organizational and communication skills
Enthusiasm for sustainability and community impact
