About This Opportunity
Boccia is a target sport, similar to bocce, but is played in a gymnasium. It is a sport that can be played by anyone, as you can throw, kick or use a ramp to get involved. Ontario Parasport Games is offering a boccia competition, which will bring in some of Ontario's best boccia athlete's, including past Paralympians.
We are looking for new Provincial Boccia Referees to help with this competition (and beyond)! We will provide you training at no cost, so you feel ready to hit the court on May 31 & June 1.
Training schedule:
- Virtual Training on May 13 & 14, 4pm to 6pm (both days)
- In person Training on May 30, 9am to 12pm
Referee at OPSG at Canada Games Park in Thorold, ON:
- May 31, 9am-7pm
- June 1, 9am-4pm
Deadline to register for the training: Apr 22
Deadline to register through the OPSG portal: Apr 24
