Do you have the time to give and are passionate about enriching the lives of people? We welcome you to volunteer at our AgeCare community, Sagewood, in Strathmore, Alberta. Volunteers help out with the recreation programs designed for residents in the AgeCare community.
As a Recreation Assistant Volunteer you will help the Recreation Therapy Staff prepare for, facilitate and take down recreation programs such as games, movies, entertainment and special events. Volunteers assist residents with moving to and from activities and common spaces. Volunteers develop a special relationship with residents while working in a positive caring environment.
AgeCare Sagewood are looking for volunteers who can commit to a 2 to 3 hour afternoon shift weekly (Monday to Saturday). Please note: Volunteers must be 15 years and older to apply.
