About This Opportunity
As a Porter Volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to brighten the days of our residents and make a real difference in their lives.
Responsibilities
- Signing in and out and Wearing your Name Tag: Start and end your volunteer shift by signing in and out at the front reception desk. You must wear your Volunteer Name Tag during all shifts.
- Connect with Residents: Work with our recreation staff to identify residents who would benefit from attending recreation programs, and encourage them to join in!
- Engage in Programs: Spend quality time engaging residents in our recreation programs, and escort them to and from activities.
- Ensure Comfort: Be attentive to residents' needs during your visit. If a resident becomes tired, assist them back to their room, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Communicate and Schedule: Notify our Recreation and Volunteer Manager of any changes to your schedule or availability.
