About This Opportunity
Our Recreational Para Cycling program runs every Monday and Wednesday from 6:00-8:00pm from May to September. Location: Bowness, Calgary Volunteers for our recreational, welcoming, casual group will assist with:
- Prepare equipment; move equipment out of storage, inflate tires etc.
- Assist participants in getting into equipment and fitted, strapping, cushioning etc.
- Assist with safety of participants
- Instruct safe and efficient cycling skills (training provided)
- Be a cycling buddy
Volunteers are asked to help tidy equipment after use and place equipment back in storage.
All volunteers must bring their own bike + helmet.
Most often we have one volunteer with a small group (2-3) of adaptive cyclists.
