About This Opportunity
House & Family Room Volunteers
As a House or Family Room volunteer your role is to provide a warm and welcoming environment for our guest families. This role requires charismatic individuals who are comfortable greeting guests and will help ensure that families that visit us feel safe and comfortable and have the information they’ll need throughout their visit.
Volunteers will provide a range of support, including arranging activities, play time with kids, baking treats for our families, and engaging with visitors of all ages to ensure they feel “at home”. Volunteers will also contribute to the upkeep of our family spaces.
Our House and Family Room Volunteers are asked to commit a four hour weekly shift for a minimum of eight months. Candidates must pass our screening procedure and be at least 18 years old.

- o Proof of a second dose of the Mumps, Measles, and Rubella vaccine
- o Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Search
- o Child Abuse Register
- o Two references (only one can be personal, and it cannot be a family member; at least one reference must have observed you interacting with children.

- Proof of Covid Vaccination
- Willing to undergo a background or police records check
