We are looking for an experienced and enthusiatic individual with a passion for robotics.
Key Accountabilities
● Work closely with your skilled robotics team to strategically plan, develop, and execute our newly launched Youth Robotics Program and Robotics Program.
● Collaborate with the team to design engaging and educational classes and activities regarding basic robotics and computer programming, developing detailed lesson plans and activity guides for our classes.
● Lead or assist in teaching classes, providing one-on-one or group instruction to students as needed while facilitating a positive learning environment.
● Gather feedback from students and other volunteers to assess the effectiveness of the program, assisting in implementing changes to enhance the program.
● Assist in the organization and maintenance of equipment and materials, ensuring all materials are in good working condition prior to classes.
Qualifications
● Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to apply for this position.
● Candidates should be pursuing studies at a college or university level. (Students in Computer Programming, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field will find this role interesting and beneficial.)
● Extremely knowledgeable in the aforementioned fields, with practical experience and a solid understanding of electrical engineering and/or computer programming, enabling you to effectively teach others.
● Knowledge of software such as Arduino and Python.
● Experience in practical robotics theory such as circuit boards and working with programmable devices.
