Volunteers are the backbone of the Special Olympics movement. Special Olympics provides year round sport opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Special Olympics would not exist today—and could not have been created—without the time, energy, commitment and enthusiasm of our volunteers and coaches. It’s about a spirit of giving and teamwork. It's about making your community and neighborhood a more welcoming and accepting place for people of all abilities.
We are currently seeking coaches, team manager(s), and general volunteers to help run a local soccer program in Scarborough for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
All volunteers 18 and over, must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check/Screening.
