KidSport BC is partnering with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC 50/50 program for matches throughout the 2023 season. 

KidSport provides funding for kids from families facing financial barriers to help cover the cost of sport registration fees so ALL kids can play! 

We are looking for volunteers (age 19 and older) who are social, energetic and interested in supporting our cause by selling 50/50 tickets at Whitecaps FC home matches. This opportunity requires volunteers to stand and walk the stadium for several hours to promote and sell 50/50 tickets. Volunteers will work in assigned sections to sell tickets before and during the match. Ticket sales end at the 60th minute of the match and then KidSport staff conduct the draw. We use handheld machines to take credit card payments (no cash is accepted).

Dates: May 31, Jun 3, 10, Jul 8, 12, 15, Aug 20, Sep 30, Oct 4, 20 

Choose to volunteer for one match or multiple dates.

Approximate Time Commitment (4 hours) 

Sample schedule based on 7:30 pm kickoff: 

• 5:30 pm Volunteers arrive for training 
• 6:30 pm Gates open and ticket sales begin
• 7:30 pm Game starts, sales continue
• 9:00 pm At the 60th minute mark of the match, ticket sales end. Upon the return of ticket selling supplies your volunteer shift is complete. Volunteers are welcome to say and watch the remainder of the match in the seats provided or can choose to leave. 

Please note: Volunteers must be 19 years of age or older and are responsible for their own transportation to and from the stadium and will not be reimbursed for any associated costs they may incur.
