About the Role:
Peer Support is a one-to-one service offering emotional support, delivered by specially trained volunteers and supervised by professional staff. As a Senior Peer Support Volunteer, you will offer compassionate support to seniors experiencing:
* Loneliness and isolation
* Grief and loss
* Housing transitions or relocations
* Health-related challenges and aging concerns
* The need to connect with their community
* Depression and anxiety
* Isolation from friends and family
