We are seeking an individual with some experience in social media coordination to help Refood’s mission of reducing food waste and promoting food security. You will be responsible for generating and managing engaging content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Key responsibilities include:

• Generate engaging content for various social media channels including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. 
•  Implement a content calendar 
•  Create compelling and engaging content that showcases Refood's voice, values and tonality while engaging with followers 
•  Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing Measure the success of every social media campaign and web traffic metrics 
• Develop, implement and manage social media strategy 
• Respond to comments and direct messages 
•  Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network Create new concept ideas and stay on top of social media trends 
•  Grow social media followers and increase engagement rates

Certification/Education Or Experience Required:

• Experience as a social media strategist and knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and other social platforms is required 
• Understanding of audience and buyer persona research 
• Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, time-management skills, and the ability to multitask

• Immediate Start Date
• Remote/Online Flexible  
• Time Commitment: 3-4 hrs/week
  
• Minimum commitment of 3 months is required.
  
• Required Weekly mandatory meeting: Wednesdays from 6 PM PST, virtual
