Summary
Student ambassadors work to advance the mission of Students for Herd Immunity by going through a 5-session program aimed to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead conversations about vaccines in their local communities and tackle vaccine hesitancy through peer-to-peer education. These virtual sessions will be led by medical and graduate students and will end with student ambassadors returning to their communities to carry out education and advocacy work in an effort to increase vaccine literacy.

About This Opportunity
Attend 5-session virtual training program led by medical and/or graduate student to learn the basic science of vaccines, the social factors underlying vaccine hesitancy in BIPOC communities, and advocacy skills to lead conversations about vaccines. Student ambassadors will wrap up their program by going into their communities to disseminate what they have learned to their families, peers, and communities at large.
