The Nature of Water Internship
Summary
Come intern for a group of dedicated photojournalists. Our collective, formed through the tumult of the 2019 Anti-Extradition protests in Hong Kong has undertaken projects in publishing, exhibitions, and more recently, a fundraising campaign to endow a scholarship fund. While our abiding passion is photojournalism, our projects have us working in the modern media landscape. We work with audio, video, and still photography. We are in close contact with organizations and business allies who help us achieve our goals. As such, we have found ourselves making budgets, curating spreadsheets, setting up exhibitions, cold-calling organizations, writing press releases, and conducting interviews for traditional media outlets as well as YouTube channels. We do a lot! We are looking for someone who is flexible, and not shy about jumping into assignments and projects with very little direction. Problem-solving skills here are important. You will be expected to learn on the fly, just as we do, and produce results. We will be here to help evaluate, learn, and move on. Come join a dynamic and aggressive team of media professionals.
