About This Opportunity
The tool room is where volunteers test, clean and fix up any kind of tool that comes into the ReStore. It could be as simple as sorting gardening tools like shovels to testing lawn mowers and other hand tools like drills and saws. All the items that go out on the sales floor are to be tested and minor repairs made if possible. Volunteers will do a variety of tasks including: sorting and organizing the tools that come in, inspecting and testing all tools, and if possible, doing minor repairs and cleaning the tools in preparation for the sales floor. If you're someone who likes to tinker and a problem solver, this is the perfect role for you.
