The Toronto Marathon takes place on Sunday, May 5, 2024 and is expected to draw upwards of 17,000 participants in a downhill course that is fast and scenic, starting from Yonge St. and Sheppard Ave in North York and finishing at the Queen Elizabeth Building. This Toronto favourite is one of the fastest courses you will find anywhere. 

 This year the MS Canada Team will be a part of the Toronto Marathon and MS Canada is an Affiliate Charity Partner meaning that runners can choose MS Canada to be their Charity of Choice!

Station Set up at 6:00 am

Water Station Volunteer

Water/Aid Stations are located at regular intervals along the course. MS Canada is supporting one aid station with the support of other local charities. 

Responsibilities:

It is the responsibility of water station volunteers to set up the station and guide the runners as they come through the water station in order to ensure a seamless movement of all participants. This role is critical for the safety and well-being of the participants in the marathon. Specific duties include: 

 Arrive early 

Set Up Tables on roadside 

Prepare/mix & pour water & electrolyte drinks into cups before the runners arrive 

Hand out water/electrolyte drinks to participants as they pass 

Clean-up the station before leaving
