About This Opportunity
Our Time on the Land (TOTL) Program was developed in 2020 during the pandemic to allow people to come out and safely enjoy nature with animals with an interactive guided tour, a walk through our magical forest, and a picnic!
We are looking for fun, enthusiastic, and outgoing individuals who enjoy talking to people and working with animals. These volunteers are the social butterflies and natural storytellers of the world and love to put a smile on people's faces! If this sounds like you, then you may be the perfect fit to become a Dreamcatcher™ Tour Guide!
What would you be doing as a tour guide?
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Tour guests around the property and provide information about our organization, programs, and services
- Bring guests safely into the animal pens, teaching them about animal behaviors, and telling guest about the animal's stories and how they help people in therapy
- Ensure guests are safely interacting with the animals
- Ensure guests follow program rules while on the tours
- Answer guest questions about the animals or our programs and services 6. Staying in contact with the Volunteer Coordinator, Event Planners, Event Managers, and Event Volunteers
Don't have much experience around farm animals? We will train you to provide tours with the animals safely and ensure you have enough resources to help you succeed in the role!
Note: Applicant's Must be at least 14 years or older to volunteer independently. This position is not suitable for young children.
