Transit Porter
Summary
Individuals are needed to accompany program participants from their homes to the program on WheelTrans (accessible public transit operated by Toronto Transit Commission). You will be required to meet a participant at their home and ride with them to our program at 129 Mt Pleasant Rd. You will not be required to attend the program with the program participant afterwards.
⦁ This is an in-person opportunity to engage with a participant in a 1:1 setting.
⦁ Experience working/communicating with people with disabilities is required.
⦁ Areas needed: East York, York, North York, and York Region
⦁ Hours: approximately 8-9:30 am and/or 3-4:30 pm.
⦁ Documentation required: Valid First Aid and Level C CPR, Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination, Vulnerable Sector Screening, Resume
⦁ Suitable for 16+
