About This Opportunity

A nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health literacy for newcomer women is seeking Tigrinya and Dari translators to assist with the following:  

  • Document Translation: Translate health-related materials into Tigrinya or Dari. Must be able to type in your language. 
  • Workshop Translation (Online): Provide live interpretation during online health literacy workshops. 

Who We’re Looking For: 

  • Proficient in Tigrinya or Dari (written and spoken). 
  • Proof of fluency is required (e.g., certification, language proficiency tests, or equivalent credentials). 
  • Comfortable working with a nonprofit audience. 
  • Experience in translation/interpretation is preferred but not required. 

Compensation: This is a one-time paid opportunity.
