Become a Transportation Driver Volunteer with the Eganville & District Seniors’ Needs Association. As a transportation driver volunteer, you will:
- Drive grateful seniors and clients to and from various appointments and errands or drive them to the Echo Centre for programs.
- You have the option to drive our agency vehicle or use your own and choose your preferred locations. Typical trips include Renfrew, Pembroke, or Ottawa.
- Help maintain their independence and access to essential services.
- Provide a vital lifeline to seniors who can no longer drive.
We need enthusiastic, reliable individuals who are passionate about giving back to their community. Your contribution will have a direct and positive impact on the lives of our seniors and clients, helping them stay connected and engaged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive clients safely to their destinations.
- Commit to one or more days per month, week, or be available on an on-call basis. You can make your own schedule!

- Over “age of majority” in province of opportunity
- Driver's License
- Willing to undergo a background or police records check
- Access to car
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record & insurance coverage
- Comfortable commuting to opportunity location
- Own cell phone
- Cell plan that allows for free call
- Clean driver's abstract
