York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a UBC Employer Spotlight Event Volunteer—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves socializing.
The Networking Event Volunteer is responsible for:
- Greeting visitors
- Conversation support
- Taking photos
- Helping count inventory of items that were brought
- Providing feedback on the event
- Arriving to the event independently

Date & Time:
🗓️ Friday, October 10
Shift: 12pm - 1pm

Who We're Looking For:
- Minimum age: 12
- Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and softwares
- Complete training prior to start date
- Can commit to the shift schedule
Bonus Skills:
- Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English
- Previous volunteer experience
