Volunteer Call – Food Not Bombs + Sprout & Learn Event

Dear Friends,

We have some exciting opportunities this September to share our passion for the Afforestation Areas and Saskatoon’s swales – and we’d love your help, if you and or your friends are available!  

We will supply the table, a few lawn chairs for the event, banner, pamphlets with the information which can be shared at these events. Depending on the weather, we can set up a screen tent also.

Food Not Bombs Event – Volunteers Needed

• Date: Sunday, September 28

• Time: 11:30 am – 3:00 pm (set-up at 9:30 am)
  We’re looking for volunteers to help at this wonderful community event. The Friends of the Saskatoon Afforestation Areas will also be hosting a table, highlighting both the Afforestation Areas and the West Swale. Your presence will help us connect with the public, answer questions, and showcase the importance of these spaces.

Sprout & Learn Double Event Series – Volunteer Shout Out

• Guided Walk: Saturday, September 13 at 1:00 pm (NE Swale)
  We’re seeking volunteers to help staff our table at the NE Swale during the Guided Walk. This is a fantastic chance to engage visitors and share knowledge about wetlands, increase knowledge about the West Swale, and conservation.

Whether you can lend a hand with set-up, help greet visitors, or simply share your enthusiasm, your involvement makes all the difference.
