STEPS Society of Red Deer o/a Employment Placement and Support Services (EPSS) and A Gathering Place (AGP) is a multi-function non-profit organization established in 1986. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and incorporated as a society under the Societies Act. Since our inception, we have been committed to providing employment supports to Central Albertans to promote an increased quality of life and empowering individuals to become viable and productive members of their community. Throughout this period, we have had the privilege of managing a variety of programs, initially within the Red Deer area, but very quickly moving out to rural locations and providing services throughout the Central Region. Our services are offered to a wide variety of individuals including: families, youth, adults, mature workers, clients who require supports to overcome barriers to obtain and maintain employment, and individuals with disabilities. Over the years, our agency has grown and diversified.
