About This Opportunity
Volunteer Crisis Responders provide immediate emotional support, practical assistance to those impacted by crime or tragic circumstance. You will respond to requests by Police and other Emergency Services within London and Middlesex County. Most common requests occur after Sudden death, Domestic Violence or House fires. Always work in teams of 2.
Training included 40 hours online training courses (23 modules) completed at your own pace over late December to February and 30 hours in-person training (7 training days - 5 Thursday evenings (6:30 pm) and 2 full day Saturdays (March 2, March 30). Training is completed by April 4, 2024.
Once trained, volunteer schedule their own on-call time (36 hours a month).
Great experience if wish to get into a career in Policing or another Emergency Services field.
