About This Opportunity
Meals on Wheels/La Popote Roulante ( Ottawa) is looking for volunteers to help deliver meals to seniors those who are differently-abled and recovering. The volunteer commitment is very flexible and in your hands. After a short informal interview, orientation and training you can sign up for shifts! Each shift is 2 hours and usually occurs over the lunch period from Monday to Saturday. We also offer limited evening volunteering positions as well. Drivers deliver hot and frozen meals. Drivers can use their own vehicles to make deliveries to clients at their homes. During this time, volunteers see the direct impact their help makes in the clients’ lives.
